Construction, there's either tonnes of work, or none. At least now I have guaranteed shifts that won't kill me.

yeeks, going on my last week living at home. doesn't seem real yet... major sorting and packing all this coming week. need to have everything ready by wednesday or thursday since i'm going down to indy with friends to party for the superbowl, then the tuesday after that i'm off... excited about my job interview tho, that's lined up for the 15th.

nope, just an interview, but it's a pretty solid chance i'll get it. my buddy i used to work with, does video work through contract with them, and he put my name in. if not, there are tons of jobs in austin, so i'm not too worried about it.

so 8:30 our internet connection dies because my moms been playing [censored] facebook games since she got home from work and used up all our bandwidth. then she forces me to go with my sister to barnes & noble (a half hour drive) so she can finish her homework because she doesnt trust her driving in the dark (and fog) by herself. shes almost [censored] 19 years old. shes not a damn child anymore. hell when i was her age i NEVER had anyone older than me in the car, and i drove all the time in every weather and never had an accident. so we finally get to barnes & noble and theres no outlets available and my laptop is at like 30%. so i dont know what im supposed to do for the next hour and a half until they close. i could have been [censored] sleeping right now.

Congrats on taking the plunge. Sometimes you just need to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. If I hadn't, I wouldn't be married. :p

yep the main reason i'm taking that plunge. just been in a rut for the past few years. haven't really learned much new or grown as a person. same ol'[censored] different day kinda business, and after 3.5 years at my old job, i was really really beginning to hate it there. a lot of corporate [censored] started rolling in and I could only see it getting worse as the company grew. plus i was paid 20k less then coworkers, who i felt i was a better employee then...

and no better time then now, got just under 10K saved up, no debt, only have car insurance, phone, and surgery payments. and surgery payments can be as much or as little as I want to give them. and I have a pretty promising job interview since my friend works for them.

I need a hobby. I really am bored all the time and have $ to spend

guess who got called in for a night shift! been up since 8am, so ill be dead on my feet come 8am tomorrow (well, today). the drive home is going to suck.

photography, music production, home theater those are a few that i've been into in the past. and they can all take that money right from ya haha

i have been looking at rc cars....

about to take the plunge and do 40/40 at work... 40 scheduled and 40 ot... guy does 40/60 and clears 3500 A WEEK!

i dont do bad.. I stick to around 15 ot and make 15-1700 every week...

i made about 550 a week at DTM. hopefully i'll get a nice bump when i get to austin and i can double that

IT was nice out today, got a chance to give my car a clean start for spring i suppose. I'm hopping it just stays warm.

yea it was 50s here too. too bad i was stuck inside all day. opened the window for a while tho. had to pack all day, got pretty much everything ready aside from my computer stuff that i'll pack day of/night before since i'll be using it still. pretty excited, measured it all out and i should be able to fit my bed frame in so that should save a couple hundred bucks

looking at a duplex tomorrow, wish me luck. 2 bedroom with washer & dryer for $900. to put that in perspective, its hard to find a 1 bedroom for that price.
